Improvised performance using rhythm-generating machines and recycled materials. The title, “1574”, is a reference to the length of time it takes for a plastic bottle to decompose. Were a plastic bottle discarded in 1574, it would only just have decomposed in 2024 (the year of this performance).
The workshop following the performance allowed young people to experiment and play, constructing musical sculptures using recycled materials and generating digital and acoustic sounds loops.
